The Israel-Palestine Virtual Symposium Summer 2025

The Israel-Palestine Virtual Symposium Summer 2025 2025-07-11T11:23:48-04:00

Now more than ever, it is essential for progressives to come together and hear directly from those on the ground working to ensure a peaceful and just Israel for the future.

As scenes of bloodshed, destruction, and displacement in Palestine unfold before us, and as hostages remain in captivity, we ask ourselves, “AyekaWhere are we?”: “How is our spiritual well-being?” “What can we do?”  As suffering increases in the face of an entrenched occupation, how do we continue to cultivate hope and resilience? Where do we still find points of light?

For its sixth annual virtual Symposium, Partners offers participants the opportunity to explore, bear witness and connect to Israelis and Palestinians who have committed themselves to resisting despair through resolute action. They have responded to “Ayeka?” by resolving to help alleviate the suffering that pervades the region.

During one Sunday in each of the months of July, August, and September, Symposium participants will hear from and engage in dialogue with Israelis and Palestinians who embody the moral force of character to resist the daily violence of the post-October 7th era. We will engage with those battling the nightmare that is the Gaza front; to those resisting the increased violence on the West Bank; and to women engaged in the work of peacebuilding throughout the region. We will focus on  those combating the devastation of occupation on the ground, as well as on those who contribute to peacemaking through artistic expression. Symposium members will have the opportunity, on camera, to question presenters and, following their departure from the call, to spend a final 30 minutes dedicated to a group debriefing.

Join us and converse with Israelis and Palestinians confronting injustice in the pursuit of peace.
