Irwin did a good job of representing PPI’s perspective. As for Netanyahu’s speech itself, it was a good performance by the Prime Minister, who is an accomplished speaker. I’m afraid that the enthusiastic reception he received from the mostly Republican audience may well impress voters back home to win him precious votes in the coming election on March 17.

As Irwin suggested, his speech did not answer how Israel’s (and American) security are improved by stepping away from a deal whose final provisions we are not even privy to as yet, but that surely promises close inspections and defined limitations on Iran’s nuclear development.
