I hope that Ms. Beauchamp’s comment is not meant to single out Israel. There is racism and intolerance in all countries, including in Arab countries and even in Ethiopia, which is why Ethiopian Jews fled to Israel in the first place. The point is to identify and deplore such misdeeds wherever they arise, but hopefully without stigmatizing an entire nation.
