Bibi is the Reason We Are Not Secure

If the Palestinian Authority collapses, we are likely to get into a violent tailspin that will increase and exacerbate the current situation.

For over one hundred days, the citizens of Israel have been suffering from terrorism and attacks on a daily basis. One hundred days in which senior defense officials repeatedly claim – in any forum – that only progress in the political forum will succeed in suppressing the violence.
And yet we see the government is doing exactly the opposite: waving belligerent statements on settlement construction, limiting the operations of the Security Authority, opening a front against Hezbollah threats and blackmailing all of Israel’s Arab citizens, who are already discriminated against and deprived anyway.

And Netanyahu’s known method, after he helped contribute to a weakening of the Palestinian Authority, the Prime Minister comes and says, “You need to save the PA from collapse.”

It’s time someone starts listening to the security personnel, instead of blaming “those lefties.” It is an inconvenient time to start listening to the truth.

If Netanyahu’s ego does not allow him to do so, if the underlying settler lobby of his voters remains more important than the security of Israel, then he should step aside and hand the reigns of power to someone more worthy to lead the country.

well, MK Zandberg, it is as you say but not as you do. I am getting the feeling that Meretz politicians are desktop ‘revolutionaries’. Talk but no leadership. I invited you to for part of a leadership core able to do what you say needs to be done, and you declined with some polite and non-committal words. I challenge you to pick up the challenge and join me in forming a well disciplined and broad enough leadership core in Israel and including orgs like Partners for Progressive Israel, that can effect the changes you say need to be done (and I agree) for the duration: in a stable, sustainable, manner. Your staff said in your non-committal response that they were reading my “marshim” proposal. Well, I am still waiting. If you are serious, please contact me at thinkforthemselves@outlook.com and I’ll re-send the invitation.

Hi Margaret, most good health food shops sholud sell millet. I’ve bought it in larger supermarkets before too. Do you get the Macro range at your local Safeway? They sometimes have it. Make sure you buy the hu7eld&#821l; version. Cook 1 cup of millet with 2 cups of water or stock. Toast in a little olive oil before adding the water (wait until it starts to pop then add the water). You can add other veggies at this point too mushrooms are especially good. Justine
