Dear Partners’ Supporter,
We’re very happy to share some good news today! Thanks to the tireless resistance work being done by you, by our friends at the World Union of Meretz, and by many other allies in Israel and around the world, the chairman of the KKL-JNF (Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael-Jewish National Fund), Avraham Duvdevani, has announced that he’s postponing the vote on making West Bank land purchases part of the organization’s official activity.
But let’s not get too excited. Yes, this is another example that pressure works, but it is also just a small victory in a difficult, protracted struggle. Please note that the vote has been postponed—not cancelled! So we all need to keep up our efforts to block the Israeli rightwing’s continuing endgame of settlement and unilateral annexation. Thank you for your support of our ongoing efforts on this issue! It’s great to know that we can count on you as we keep up the fight. We’ll keep you updated on this developing issue.
