Anti-Semitism – What It Is, What It Isn’t

Anti-Semitism – What It Is, What It Isn’t 2020-12-06T16:53:16-05:00

Not that long ago, it seems, Americans held a generally common understanding of the scourge of anti-Semitism – what that term encompasses, and what it doesn’t. But that has changed. Over the last few years, the use of the anti-Semitism label has become increasingly politicized, even weaponized, particularly in the context of Israel and Zionism.

On 3rd December 2020, Partners for Progressive Israel organized a wide-ranging conversation on Anti-Semitism  What It Is, What It Isn’t. Our expert panelists, Rabbi Jill Jacobs, the Executive Director of T’ruah, and Kenneth Stern, Director of the Bard Center for the Study of Hate, shared their insights and engage with the Zoom audience via Q&A. The discussion was moderated by Jared Jackson, Founder and Executive Director of Jews in ALL Hues.
